January Challenge #2
The 2nd challenge is to...CLEAN OUT YOUR CLOSET AND DRAWERS! That's right, go through your clothes, shoes, accessories and get rid of those items you hardly wear, those that are too big or too tight or that you just don't use! Clutter keeps us trapped! Any overabundance of anything prevents new things from coming to us! Create 3 separate piles. The first is for your favorite items, those that make you look and feel good! The second pile is for those items you know need to go! Too small, too big, too old, worn out or hardly been worn. If you aren't washing it once a week, you aren't getting use out of it and are the things you need to let go of and move on out! The only exception for this is your "occasional clothes". The pieces you wear on special occasions. But don't go overboard on this either. You only need so many little black dresses! The same goes for workout gear. Working out 7 days a week, would only need 7 workout tops and sports bras, 10-12 at the most! Beyond that is abundance.The last pile is for those items you are on the fence about. You bought it thinking it was cute and now can't find anything to go with it. Or it is just slightly too tight, but oh so close. Fight the temptation to talk yourself into keeping too many items in this pile...remember it is a new you, a new beginning. The more you get rid of, the more room you have for new things, both in your closet and in your heart and soul! Role up the sleeves gals and get busy clearing the way for a fabulous new you!
